The bGlobal team was pleased to sponsor Angel Flight's annual golf tournament in Dana Point, CA. helping enable 20 Angel Flights! Angel Flight West (www.angelflightwest.org) is a long standing client of bGlobal's.

Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. Their network of 1,400+ pilots throughout the 13 western states donate their aircraft, piloting skills, and all flying costs to help families in need, enabling them to receive vital treatment that might otherwise be inaccessible because of financial, medical, or geographic limitations. Much fun was had by all even though our team didn't come out on top. We were happy to help sponsor this event and make 20 flights possible for children in need.

bGlobal and Google Glass Development

For the last six months bGlobal’s crack (no pun intended) “Glazz” team has been conducting research and development on the Google Glass platform, learning everything there is to know about Google Mirror API and the Glass Development Kit. We have a few exciting games that will soon launch.

Google Glass, a computer worn as a pair of eye glasses and used to augment reality, takes photos and video and gives map directions and more via its heads-up display. Its UI (User Interface) comprises a touchpad and voice commands. Sound is transmitted to the user via bone conduction (sounds painful, but isn’t).

Google Glass was developed in 2011 though the technology dates back well before then. In spring 2014, Google Glass went on sale in the US for $1,500.

Car manufacturers Hyundai and Nissan have already begun working to integrate Glass technology into their automobiles. Early this year Hyundai said that users will be able to interact with its 2015 Genesis sedan using the high-tech glasses to receive simple data such as maintenance notifications. And, the South Korean car maker added, its Blue Link mobile app will give Glass the hookup to features such as remote starting and vehicle locating, handy for those frigid mornings and stadium parking lots.

The Covenant with Black America Launch

DHAKA, Bangladesh and BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., May 15th—bGlobal Sourcing LLC a premier provider of judgment based business process outsourcing to the advertising and services world, announced a successful launch of the “The Covenant with Black America” online marketing campaign.

RJ Dale, a well known advertising agency located in Chicago, Illinois working in conjunction with Third World Press Inc., one of America’s oldest publishing firms, approached bGlobal to create an online promotional e-campaign for the pre-launch of the book titled “The Covenant with Black America”.

The bGlobal team created an end-to-end solution implementing an e-marketing campaign, online website, and a call center order entry interface that increased market penetration and online awareness. In part to bGlobal’s involvement, the pre-launch was a success, resulting in a quarter of a million copies sold and the coveted #1 spot on the New York Times Best Seller for non fiction during the month of April 2006.

The bGlobal Team created the concept and designed a very simple and user-friendly layout for the site which encapsulated author info, publisher info, how to order, online pre-order registration, and a press release area. An admin area was also implemented to allow administrative users to pull site stats and other relevant campaign info.
