Imagine Cup has grown to be a truly global competition focused on finding solutions to real-world problems.
Working alongside our friends at Crimson Media, the bGlobal team built a Facebook application that allowed users to vote for different teams vying to win the People’s Choice Award. bGlobal’s challenge was to ensure all votes cast through Facebook were secure and visible in real-time via a back-end administrator panel. We configured and implemented a countdown clock and SMS voting capabilities, and created individual team pages displaying date, videos, and wall functionality.
The campaign was a huge success, generating thousands of votes by more than 20,000 Facebook friends. The bGlobal team leveraged various technologies to ensure that hacking, spamming, and system overload did not occur.

Users can select wines based on different categories including type/varietal, style, region, price, and rate and have them home delivered.
Beginning at the very early planning stages, and working collaboratively, bGlobal and the Wine Shop Asia team held a number of discovery sessions and mapped out the site structure and navigation.
We converted designs to responsive XHTML with cross browser and device compatibility. Magento was selected as the e-commerce engine and CMS (Content Management System). bGlobal worked with the Spacedog team and McDonald’s to create an exciting mini site for the test launch of their Angus Third Pounder Burger in the New York market. The site is an engaging, fun-filled, and contemporary way of introducing customers to the three Angus burgers. We collaboratively created a Flash experience that includes webisodes, online gaming, music, and saturated colors to engage and entice users with the brand and provide product information about the burgers. McDonald's Angusmania.The site was geared towards the Hispanic demographic but was executed bilingually with content that would appeal to both Spanish and English speakers. Through promotions and events, major traffic was pushed to the site where users spent several minutes engaging with content—especially the Pac-Man-inspired game created to hype the Angus Third Pounder.

Unisak is a one-stop solution for students living away from home. The company developed a line of products to make living away from home for the first time a bit easier. Our challenge was to create a simple-to-shop e-commerce site with a CMS while incorporating an X-Cart affiliate module for the shopping process. We created a customized module for X-Cart to handle affiliate sales commissions from the cart through a referral scheme (not an option in X-Cart). College Summit started in 1993, with four students at a teen center in the basement of a low-income housing project in Washington, D.C. The Center's Director, J.B. Schramm, had worked as an Academic Advisor at Harvard while in graduate school, and had seen that Admissions Officers were hungry for low-income talent. But every year at the Teen Center, he saw dozens of such kids ready for college and not going. He was reminded of his own inner-city high school in Denver where – except for the very few with top grades and scores – low-income students didn’t go to college. The students with mid-tier credentials, many of whom could have done well at college, lacked the “know-how” and support senior year that the students whose parents had gone to college enjoyed. Tired of seeing students "graduate" from his teen center to the street, Schramm became determined to help admissions offices see students the way he saw them. He enlisted the best writing instructor he’d seen in graduate school, and the finest urban youth worker he knew. Together they designed a system to help bright, low-income students who, with the right support during the post-secondary transition, could propel their lives (and communities) in a positive direction. bGlobal was responsible for the build, programming and deployment of this site.

The company has had limited brand awareness and stiff competition from other mega retailers, as well as other manufacturers with established sites. The company wanted to raise its profile with consumers, engage them as brand/lifestyle champions, drive traffic to the ecommerce site, and ultimately convert that traffic into sales and repeat business.
We collaborated with Outdoor Products to make a new eCommerce website come to life that authentically told their brand story. Working alongside Outdoor’s brand agency, we were able to develop a world class website that enhances the online experience for their customers’ experience while promoting their product selection. bGlobal was instrumental in the implementation of all aspects of the technology solutions put into place from cloud hosting on the Amazon cloud, to the integration of many tools to help support a growing online business. Next, bGlobal was able to handle all inbound tier 1 customer support and online marketing efforts including SEO/SEM.
